Dear Lord...
'Sucker Punch' is a very boring, baggy, lazy costume pop video. No more than that.
Despite having some great elements, such as the usually amazing actress Abbie Cornish (Somersault and Hardy Candy, cases in point) and the potential of being an edgy, feminist action-flick, this mental institution set fantasy pretty much debases women, sensationalises abuse and revels in mediocrity.
Zack Snyder - after the visually interesting, but ultimately boring ‘300’ and the semi-brilliant ‘Watchmen’ - you really are going to have to try harder! SP stank.

Hola, film buddy!
Films. Movies. Flicks. Pictures. Cinema. Call them what you will...I LOVE THEM! Almost every film has at least one redeeming feature be it the script, effects, leading lady, costumes etc. Few films suck so much that nothing can be gained from watching them... but maybe, in my quest to watch as many as possible in one life time, I will find that one! Follow me on a journey to find that one extraordinary film (and maybe we'll discover some corkers in the meantime!) The FiLm WoRM is on the case... Please feel free to leave me a comment or two! - As kids, my brother and I used to spend hours planning which films to tape off the telly at Christmas... hours. Trawling though the Radio Times AND TV Times just to make sure we got all we wanted. Having a VCR made us SO happy and bound us together in a world of fantasy and fact, bravado and action. What a world it is! Still a common bond with so many people in my life, film is amazing and although I discovered the joys of the outside world, books and, dare I say it, real-life people I'm still a film-addict in the best sense of the term. I like other things too, and I'm sure these will get a mention. Mucho love to all those who understand my meaning when I say, "Film rocks!"
